In a significant investment focused on sustainable development and reducing environmental impact, ITALMETANO HELLAS has expanded its fleet with 4 new, modern LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) tractor units.

This initiative confirms the company’s strategic direction toward a greener and more environmentally friendly transport model, in line with modern European requirements for reducing emissions and improving energy efficiency.
The new LNG tractor units offer significant advantages compared to conventional diesel vehicles, as they help reduce carbon dioxide (CO₂), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and
particulate matter emissions, while also significantly lowering noise levels during operation.
With this investment, ITALMETANO HELLAS becomes the first company in Greece to transport natural gas (LNG–CNG) using tractor units powered by natural gas, actively supporting the transition to more sustainable and environmentally friendly transport solutions.
This investment demonstrates that the Greek transport market can adopt modern and sustainable solutions while maintaining high levels of reliability and efficiency.
